no I am not afraid to ask. isn't that why we do this ? ask the questions we want to so that we can get a wide variety of answers?

I come here for the comedy that fundies provide; they are the best exponents of IRONY.
Oh, and on rare occasions I learn something or I am jolted into thinking differently about something BUT it's mostly the comedy.
I still find it hard to believe what some people will believe.
There's a sucker born every minute rings true -I think most are USians.

it's kinda funny. I was thinking last night that Yahoo answers is like having the cool uncle who you can ask anything and he won't judge you.
sure, there are questions I wouldn't ask relatives or even close friends for that matter. I haven't yet but this is my first week here.

Not really.
But Yahoo Answers is convenient if you want to know little things like the name of an episode of a TV show, or how to make pie, etc. And for questions that no one I know irl would know.
Btw, this is the wrong category, don't you think?

There seems to be no fear at all here about asking questions. I believe the anonymity encourages people to ask "outrageous" questions. So maybe there is some truth to that definition. If you had to ask some of the questions here face to face with another, it would not be accomplished so readily.

Lmao. Urban Dictionary is supposed to be funny, not accurate. And no, I'm not afraid to ask anything (as long as it's not embarrasing).

Haha.. no. I'm not too afraid to ask. I ask everybody everything. I am kind of annoying that way, actually.

If we were afraid to ask, there would be no questions, and the site wouldn't function.
