Not that I recommend this, but use a lighter, and torch the end of the needle, rub it with rubbing alcohol and go stabby on your ear! Just make sure you wash your ears a lot (you can get the solution from a jewellery store). I did mine, I haven't had a problem with them. Good luck! It might hurt a bit, grab a warm facecloth and hold that behind and just stab into your ear. Some people recommend an icecube, but I really hate cold.

of course. I've done it a few times. Just take an ice pack, freeze whatever part you want to pierce,. Then, make sure you're needle is a good size, and sterilized. After gather a ball of toilet paper or tissue and hold it behind your ear to catch the needle. Then just press the needle through(fast), hold it in for a minute and the take it out and place the ear ring in. That ear ring has to stay in for a few months.. make sure for the first week or so to keep disinfecting it with alcohol. Oh and it always good to mark before where you want to pierce,

The best answer here is don't pierce your own ears. Chances are, they won't be even, you'll put yourself at a huge risk of infection, and it hurts much worse to do it yourself than to do it at a salon because at a salon they use a gun that snaps the earring right through your earlobe, but at home, YOU have to push it through yourself, which is slow and painful. But since you asked, I imagine you're probably going to do it anyway, so I recommend boiling water and rubbing alcohol for the needle and rubbing alcohol on your earlobe. Good luck, although really, it's a lot better and probably ultimately cheaper to get your ears pierced professionally.

When I was younger, my mom pierced my ears....she burned the end of the needle. and then she let it sit in rubbing alcohol for 5-10 minutes.
She also put ice on my ear for about 30 minutes before, so I wouldn't feel anything...
I turned out fine, but I would go to a professional...If not, Good Luck

oh-well....if you REALLY want to do it that way, use a FAT needle (like a darning needle), 1st clean with alcohol, then use a lighter until the tip turns red on the needle, then use alcohol again and go for it - be sure to "ice down" each lobe...but, in my opinion, that hurts too much - either buy "self piercing earrings at a beauty supply house, or buy one of those "punch" thingies - be sure the earrings are surgical steel, though, or you will be sorry! good luck and less pain to ya! oh - and 4 goodness sakes, do NOT 4get to turn the earrings several times a day (CLEAN HANDS b4 you do) and use either alcohol or hydrogen peroxide (best) each time!!

Just let it set in rubbing alcohol for 5 minutes and be sure and wash your hands before you use it. If your going to do this anyway, you may as well do it safely. Be sure you do this with the earings also. After you get the earings in, be sure you keep the area clean and wipe it down with alcohol everyday.

One that's a terrible idea.
Two, if you must do it, then you can put the needle in boiling water. Make sure to wash your hands and rub your ears with rubbing alcohol. It also might help to mark the ears with a pen so you make sure they're even.

Please think twice about doing this and getting it done by a professional piercer instead.
If you ARE going to do it yourself at home, buy some proper piercing needles that are already sterilised. A google search should help with that one

Why would you want to do a dumb thing like that. Go to your Dr. or someplace that pierces ears. Buy some Peroxide and Neosporin Ointment after u have it done and keep putting them on your ears until they heal.
