Yes, there is a program called AECP. Its very competitive and people who are selected normally have a technical or nursing degree, as well as a high GPA.

Have you considered college ROTC? Its different from high school ROTC. If you have a solid high school GPA, you should consider competing for the four year scholarship that AFROTC offers. Check out http://www.afrotc.com as soon as you can...the deadline is next week. We have other scholarships too, that's just the best one....some of the colleges offer free or reduced room/meal plan if you are in ROTC.

No, you cannot enlist as an officer right out of high school. In times of a National Emergency (war), it is possible to take an OCS waiver test. This is similiar to the College Entrance Examination test. After passing the waiver test (with more than a just passing grade), you can apply for Flight Training, if you wish, or go on to OCS Training and then receive your Commisson as a 2 Lt. Otherwise, you have to have at least a Bachelor Degree.

You must have a 4-year college degree to be a commissioned officer in the Air Force. You would have to complete college while on active duty.

If your grades are good, go for an USAF scholarship. Let the USAF (or Army) pay for your college. Then you owe them 4-6 years. It's a good program.
