well, first of all... please accept my sympathies. That must have been an awful ordeal, and my heart goes out to you. My prayers are with you tonight.
Your vag has had a trauma, and the symptoms that you feel down there are probably a normal reaction to the attack. If you haven't already, you need to explain to the OBGYN what has happened to you and let him/her do an exam of their own.
Again, I am so sorry for what happened to you... Words are just not enough. I wish I could give you a great big hug!

It could just be from the irritation of the area being abused. That area should heal pretty quickly though so that's good news; however if it lasts for more than a couple of days or it gets worse then definitely go back to the doctor.
I wouldn't use any creams or lotions right now either. Also, you might try taking a warm oatmeal bath. Oh, and stay away from soaps that are harsh or have a lot of perfume. Something for sensitive skin would be better.
Good luck. I hope everything works out ok.

You could have an infection that has inflamed you, and the swab could have aggravated it!
You need to see your doctor as soon as possible, in case you need antibiotics!
What happened to you was awful, and I'm truly sorry, but you need to minimise the results of that assault by getting things sorted as soon as possible!
You take control and don't give the piece of dirt any more power over you!
I'm sure everything will be fine, and good on you for reporting it!
I hope this helps!

I don't know what the problem could be, but I just wanted to say that I am sorry to hear that you were sexually assaulted. It's a horrible position and no one should have to go through that. It could be some sort of infection because of what happened to you. I hope it's not an std or something.
You should have told your doctor when you felt the burning sensation.
I hope they lock up the asshole who did that to you.
I hope you get better. Take care.

You could have an infection - it is quite likely after an assault. You were exposed to whatever the assailant was carrying, so it could be an STD, or an infection from the damage, or a yeast infection, or crabs - lots of possibilities. Talk about adding misery to misery. I am sorry to hear it, see your doctor.

I say you just get it checked. If she said it was an infection, i'd probably believe her. You always want to be sure. I hope for the best and im crossing my fingers that it isn't an STD or something :/
