i know it sounds weird, but i think arrogance in a guy is suuuch a turn on. even if he's not right ALL the time, a guy that belives in himself and thinks others should belive in him will usually win my respect. i'm a little arrogant/confident/cocky myself somtimes, i'm usually nice no matter what, but at the end of the day, i belive in my own opinions and skills above all. i'm always supportive but rather hard to impress. i know i like arrogant men...but do guy's like this quality in girls, or is that a one way turn on. lemmmme know what you think?

No, but confidence is. There is a difference. If you look good, or are good at something, there is nothing wrong with flaunting it. Just don't look down upon others who don't have what you have. When you do flaunt it, don't talk about it, just do it. You will be noticed.

I hate arrogance in a woman. This is the single most biggest turn off. Arrogance and vanity usually translate into caring only for themselves, and in a marriage or long term relationship this is disastrous. True love can never grow from a personality like that. To me arrogance makes me wanna throw up and i would run in the other direction from such a selfish and uncaring personality. Give me the girl next door, cute , caring unselfish and humble woman any day of the week. Ill leave teh arrogant ones to the players who will use and abuse them and throw them away like junk because of their match arrogant personalities and stone cold selfishness.

I think it works both ways. While confidence in a man is a turn-on for women, I think confidence in a woman is a turn-on for men.
Some people may mistake confidence for arrogance. I think true arrogance - finding yourself better than everyone else - is NOT a turn-on. Others may disagree.
Men like a challenge...the "thrill of the chase". When women act uninterested, it's a challenge for the man to get their attention. The only problem is that some guys don't realize they aren't ever going to get a certain girl's attention (she really IS uninterested) until it's too late, and she's resorted to giving him negative attention!

Like attracts like. But if you want a nice guy, they like self-confident women not arrogance. It's one way the sexes are more alike than not. Arrogance is a minus. Not a plus. Better look it up in the dictionary. Maybe that wasn't what you meant to say...?

well, as a member of the male sex, i find some confidence in a girl very attractive, i cant stand girls who constantly bash themselves, so, if you're confident, then it's a definate turn on. If you're arrogant though, and you talk to big a game, it might be off putting, maybe even threatening to a guy who has a sensitive ego

I HATE arrogant men, so that isn't something that girls necessarily like, but since you do, maybe there is also a guy out there somewhere who likes arrogant women, even though most don't. Give me a guy who is a little unsure of himself any day!

I despise it personally. There's a world of difference between arrogance and confidence. Arrogant people think they are superior, confident people just know their own self worth. I wouldn't even be friends with a really arrogant person.

Actually, as a guy, sometimes I find it very attractive. It all depends on the situation though. I don't think it would attract a guy unless he is really arrogant himself, though.
Don't be all "I'm so awesome" and stuff, but it's cute when girls argue and stick to their opinions.
And yeah, I can't stand really self concious girls who are all "OMG! I'm so ugly!"

Many men dislike it in women. It appears brassy and aggressive to them. They like confidence and even a feisty woman. But not to the point of actual arrogance.

Arrogance does not turn me on. I'm no better than you and you're no better than me. I don't look up to anybody or down on anybody. I'm proud because I've earned the right to be proud, but I'm not arrogant. I work with arrogant people and all they want is to make people look and feel stupid. Good luck.
