Is the Mormon religion a ripoff? Hardly! What or how are they ripping whoever off? The Church does not pass a collection plate--ever! We pay our tithing on a voluntary basis and privately, not showing others how much or how little is paid. The passing of currency is never allowed in the assembly halls, but only sealed envelopes going to the bishopric before the services begin.
Yup, we're an okay religion.

No, we are the honors class of Christianity. We not only have to study the Bible, but we also are supposed to study the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, the Pearl of Great Price, and pay attention to what our current prophet and apostles and leaders say. Most Christian churches think life begins at birth, and heaven or hell are all that follow this life. But our concept is much greater - as it includes the time we spent before being born, and where we will go after the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and the Final Judgment. But where much is given, much is required, so we all have a responsibility to do something with what we have. Thanks for asking, and I send you a virtual gummy bear.

The lds religion is THE restoration of the original gospel. Christianity is NOW become the "other" gospel that Paul warned the early saints about in Galatians ch. 1.
however, there is a warning i offer to the LDS. just because you are taught the truth doesnt mean that the truth remains forever.

They are a unique religion in that they are one of the few religions that believes Christ to be the literal Son of God and a God as well. The first Principal of the Gospel for the Mormons is: faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Also, if this makes them Christian to believe in Christ as God and Redeemer, they are also unique in the way that they are one of the only Christian religions (the only one that I know of) to not be entirely dependent on the bible. LDS believe they have restored the fullness of the gospel and the true church to the earth in the latter-days. Truly, I believe its a rip off religion, but they are blind and very sincere. They're not okay.
