My tags also have the date (year) of my medical shots. Yes, the tags can have AF on them meaning Air Force. I don't know about other branches of service.

What does T68 mean on a dog tag. Mine says T68 B POS (which is my blood type).. but I have never understood what the T68 means.

i was in the USMC 3yrs active. the info was name ssn. and blood type. the reason 4 this obvious blood type if your wounded,ssn if your dead so they can send u back home.War is not a pretty thing.
