r tattoos good or bad?

Generally, names are a BAD idea...
Not saying that this is going to happen, but if you DO happen to break up - he has to wear your name around FOREVER!!
Personally, I feel that tattoos should express WHO you are - not who OWNS you ;););););)

Yes if he wants a tattoo by all means good on him, but instead of your name maybe he should get something that resembles you. Or a design you both like that incorporates you both. Tattoos are great if you like them although some will say they are bad. Good luck :)

NO NO NO! You should never get someones name on you except if they are your kids or pets. other then that NO. i just had a friend who got her husbands name on her arm and now they are getting a divorce. its like the kiss of death. i LOVE tattoos but I would strongly advise him NOT to get your name on him.

tattoos are awesome names of people other than your children are not good!!!
you rent married but even if you were i would say no no no!!! i have a ton of tattoos, but would never put my husbands name on me and we are soulmates.
there is actually an urban legand if you will that says your relationship is doomed after the tattoo.

Never ever get a gf/bf's name tattooed, it's just asking for trouble! He could get something that reminds him of you or lyrics from 'your song' maybe but your NAME no.

Ah, no.
My opinion concerning tattoos is that, no matter how beautiful tattoo designs may be at times, after fives years it's got to get old...
That and they're awfully permanent. Not saying that it would happen, but if you two were ever to separate, he would be in a pickle.

One of the few things you NEVER EVER put on your body is a name of someone that is not your kid, or parent. anyone else will always leave trust me. No names!!!!
And the ones that don't follow my advice always end up getting a cover up job and regret having it done in the first place.

No NO . no NO Tattoos last for a lifetime........... What happens when you change friends? Have a tattoo removed? Very painful and it takes a long time AND a scar is left.
So my answer is - tattoos are bad because they are so permanent.

no! not trying to be really negative or anything, but what if you break up? have him do a little research on tattoo removal; he'll probably change his mind. if you got married & were completely in love i would say go for it. but considering you are only dating tell him he shouldn't do it.

NO, he should NOT get a tattoo of your name. Then you are stuck with it if you break up (you never know) My sister is gettting one with her husbands name. I still think it is a dumb idea,but they are at least married.
