Do you know our history? It is because We Mexicans are Indians or Native Americans and we had been in this continent since it origins. We were created by God and this is our land. We belong here. Despite Mexico City was the capital of New Spain and Mexico Criollo, and despite we had an Austro-Hungarian Empire. We Mexicans claim to be Aztecs , Toltecs and Mayas. We are mexicans though, We might be wite, black , red or yellow, but we still are Mexicans.
We might be rich or poor, documented or undocumented, anglos or hispanics,.. does not matter. We are Mexicans.
We might be Mexican-Americans.
So we are America, got it?

Some times we need to type in English language, so we can communicate with monlingual tribes like yours.

No, you are not America.

Get out.

EDIT FOR EL ASKERO:

If you dont want to communicate with monlingual people like us, do us a favor and dont bother trying. What you are using isnt anywhere NEAR English. It's SPANGLISH.

We won. You lost. Get it?
(Thanks to the poster below who said that!!!)

EDIT FOR CAGGER:

You just cant get this legal/illegal alien thing, can you? MY ancestors came here legally. I dont know why people just cant comprehend the difference. Try going to Mexico illegally. See what kind of treatment you get there. All countries guard their borders. For some reason, illegal aliens and their supporters seem to think the US doesnt have that right. Guess what? We do. And we will.

EDIT FOR LA RAZA:

I find it incredibly arrogant that you latinos call us "crackers" racists. You know the old saying. When you point your finger at someone, three others are pointing at you? You illegal immigrants are the biggest racists on the planet. But you will never understand that. So, if you want to find out how "scared" we are, bring it. We have plenty of Pepto Bismol to fight off the gas attack.

The funny thing is, people who are against illegal immigration do not base it on race. They base it on illegal status. Got that? Illegal status is not a race. Unless you choose to make it one.

See if you can get this through your thick head: The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo is the peace treaty, largely dictated by the United States[1][2] to the interim government of a militarily occupied Mexico, that ended the Mexican-American War (1846–1848). The treaty provided for the Mexican Cession, in which Mexico ceded 1.36 million km² (525,000 square miles) (55%[3] of its pre-war territory) to the United States in exchange for US$15 million (equivalent to $313 million in 2006 dollars) and the ensured safety of pre-existing property rights of Mexican citizens in the transferred territories, the latter of which the United States in a significant number of cases failed to honor.[4][5][6] The United States also agreed to take over $3.25 million ($68 million in 2006 dollars) in debts Mexico owed to American citizens.
The Treaty took its name from what is now the suburb of Mexico City where it was signed on 2 February 1848.
The cession that the treaty facilitated included parts of the modern-day U.S. states of Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, and Wyoming, as well as the whole of California, Nevada, and Utah. The remaining parts of what are today the states of Arizona and New Mexico were later ceded under the 1853 Gadsden Purchase
The Gadsden Purchase (known as Venta de La Mesilla in Mexico) is a 29,670 mi² (76,770 km²) region of what is today southern Arizona and New Mexico that was purchased by the United States from Mexico in 1853 for $10 million. The initial purchase treaty was signed in Mexico in 1853, but a very different treaty was finally ratified by the U.S. Senate and signed by President Franklin Pierce on June 24, 1854. The purchase included lands south of the Gila River and west of the Rio Grande.
After the end of the Mexican-American War in 1848, the border disputes between the United States and Mexico remained unsettled. Land that now comprises lower Arizona and New Mexico was part of a proposed southern route for a transcontinental railroad. U.S. President Franklin Pierce was convinced by Jefferson Davis, then the country's Secretary of War, to send James Gadsden (who had personal interests in the rail route) to negotiate the Gadsden Purchase with Mexico. Under the resulting agreement, the U.S. paid Mexico $10 million (equivalent to about $230 million in 2004 dollars[1]) to secure the land. The matter about the money was to be very conflictual: even though the agreement specified $10 million, the US Congress agreed on only $7 million ($163 million in 2006 dollars). When the money finally arrived in Mexico City $1 million ($23 million in 2006 dollars) was missing, thus resulting in a total of only $6 million ($140 million in 2006 dollars). The treaty included a provision allowing the U.S. to build a transoceanic canal across the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, though this option was never exercised. With a few exceptions, such as the resolution of the Chamizal dispute, acquisition of land in this purchase defined the present boundaries of the continental United States.

"We might be Mexican-Americans" but you can't be, since you are either American or not. Real Americans don't hyphenate!

Obviously I know your history better than you. You are not Native to the US. The Indians that lived here would have ran you out and did. Read a history book and you will see that in the Southwest we had Apache, Comanche, Kiowa, Chiracahua all warlike and very territorial. The US took this land from them, not Mayans or Aztecs. Spain took the land from you. If you want to be in your homeland then go back to Mexico.

Let's see. First the pseudo indigenous cultures were wiped from the planet by in-fighting and finally the Spanish. The mixed breed of rape progeny served the Spanish for decades.

As Spain was thoroughly decimated and ceased to be a world power they left there bastard children (that would be you) to care for the sewers they left behind.

As the backward ignorant children you were and are you attempted to take more than you were capable of and got spanked. To salve your pride we paid for what we had garnered in combat and left the bloody carcasses of your failures on the field.

The beauty of it is that morons like you are the reason you lost the first time and soon, groups like la raza, mecha and fist will start it again. You can't help it, the stupidity runs deep. When that happens we will eliminate a few million problems and this time we won't pay.

We are an armed nation. You would do well to remember that.

That is correct! President polk waged war against Mexico only to steal their land. He was a greedy anglo and killed many Mexicans to take what he wanted. Fortunately for him the guy he sent to Mexico to have the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo signed only signed for the (current) United States and not all the States and Mexico as Polk requested.

Borders are man-made. You are an American.
About the immigrants of this country (legal or illegal); the citizens of this country have forgotten the days when their forefathers migrated. They lived in slums, were discriminated against, etc. They didn't have the nice house and the nice job. It is ironic. It is a white-man's world unfortunately. It is not a fair play ground for all immigrants. We welcome Europeans, Aussies, Kiwis, etc., but are quick to push away Mexicans, Middle Easterners, Asians, etc. Concentration of world's wealth and resources in few regions are responsible for the diaspora or immigrants. It is not an easy task to leave your home soil. The reason illegal immigrants are mostly from these undesired countries is because of our double standards. They work hard to improve their lives. I welcome anyone of that nature. US government should force the corrupt businesses to sponsor these people.

Do not worry as these views of double standards, disrespect and intolerance are shared by a minority. Practice your right to vote and change this country so that every citizen enjoys this country as equally. It is your home and duty.

Why is it OKfor people to hang up Irish flags, be proud of your Irish heritage and celebrate Irish holidays but suspicious when it is Mexican or other frowned-upon cultures?

Edit for TOODEEMO -

Maybe your parents did, but many citizens' parents didn't. Many hid in ships and crates, crossed borders. The great thing about the past and history is "everyone came here legally" Live and let live. Like I said, force the businesses to show their loyalty to their employees as well as their country by sponsoring these folks. For me, many of these folks have proven that they are worthy of being good citizens. In bureaucracy and politics they haven't. I do agree with you that things should be done legally, but our job as representatives of our culture and citizens of the USA (Americans) is not to tell people in need to "GET OUT", but to help people in need even if it means changing our legislation. This is patriotism for me. Personally, I don't want to see this issue become a trend without a resolution such as abortion or gay marriage.

I'm Mexican too, but this is a bad approach. We are part of America, but we aren't all of it. This is a one sided, bitter, and ignorant question. Excluding the idiots who just like to complain, people who don't like immigrants have their reasons....

Well, no, you are not "America" untill you are legal residents. When you have papers, or are native born, THEN you are "America" GOT IT. Besides, if your people would have had the brains and sense to set up a goverment, then you would not have this debate. Also, if you are "Mexican", then you are not "American". It's either one or the other. It doesn't have to do with race, just NATIONALITY. What nation you declare yourself to be apart of.

This is the United States of America. Not the United States of Mexico America. We kicked your *** a long time ago and took what ever land you think belongs to you. Want to come here? Then learn English, get a job and pay taxes! Otherwise go back to Mexico. It would be south of Texas in case you need directions.
