What is the minimum enlistment in the Marine Corps?

all contracts are for eight years. at least 4 of those years will be on Active Duty. the rest will be in the Reserves or IRR.

Three years active then the (non-drilling) IRR which subjects to recall for five years. All military obligations are eight years total. The better/more technical jobs usually require a four year enlistment.
