Depends on their maturity.

A spiritual experience can fire up the emotions.

Certain emotions can enhance spiritual experiences.

Without maturity... experience... it is difficult to be discerning.

I disagree with it. I don't think their emotion works like most people. I think they are out right blind to emotion. They have lives ruled by some unseen dictator. I can get emotional. Am I so moved I need guidance from some ancient text? How much of it relates to today's world? They aren't emotional they're crazy.

Totally agree. Most people cannot tell the difference between their emotions and the genuine work of the Spirit of God.

The simple test is TRUTH. If the 'spirit' or emotions a person is experiencing lead them to do something or say something contrary to the TRUTH - then they are deceiving themselves.

I don't believe in spirits, deities, magics or anything. So spirituality must either be ignorant emotion or something of the sort. Maybe they just had a few too many beers.

To be honest that would be impossible to determine what goes on in each persons head. I think if we delve into that Cosmo of thought we risk becoming judgmental or each other. It's like saying black people all want watermelon...that's that true of course yet it is a judgment unfairly given
