do you have to get them cut out or if there the option to get laser surgery aswell? and do these procedures hurt. which one hurts more?

My daughter had some warts removed and the doctor who removed them said that he removes moles the same way. He had a cannister filled with some type of freezing agent and sprayed it on the warts. My daughter said that it was quite painful for her. It felt like something was burning on her thumb and she couldn't get it off.
