cuase people are telling me to wait to get a RUMBLE sixaxis PS3 controller instead.

the most recent upgrade of the PS3 allows rumble on select games like Ratchet and Clank. It can rumble and is a bit more heavier. if you really want rumble then go for it but if you don't care for it then it's not a necessary upgrade. Dual Shock 3 comes out like early 08.

One has rumble, the other does not (It shakes/vibrates at certain times). Its actually called Dual Shock 3 controller.

rumble is the difference..... rumble meaning vibrate.... the current one doesnt do that... its only wireless and motion sensitive right now.... its not a big difference.... the dualshock 3 (rumble) is heavier because of the rumble motors.... and it will probably use up more battery because of rumble.... which means less battery time.... i guess....

Well, it's in the name itself, it has rumble, or what other people call, vibration. It's not out in the U.S. yet, but it just came out in Japan.
