Should Paxil (or other SSRIs) be taken at night or morning?

Should Paxil (or other SSRIs) be taken at night or morning? Do they have any effect an your sleeping patterns?

My doctor advised that I take it at whichever time I am least likely to forget to take it. What time you take it is not as big of a deal as missing a dosage. So, I always remember to take mine right after I wake up and right before I brush my teeth every morning. Now it is part of my routine which makes me less likely to forget to take it. Hope this helps!

I take Celexa for OCD and I take it at night, when I was on Paxil a couple of years ago, I took it at night too. It doesn't matter when you take it, but most people recommend taking it at night because it can cause drowsiness.

paxil if i remember correctly if you tak it at night will have a effect on your sleep so you should take it during the day..

SSRIs [and any other medication] affect different people in different ways. Talk to your doctor about how it's affecting you and when you should take it.
