I dont know how true is that statement. I just want to know if people do actually believe in this old saying...

Yup! Turned me upside-down this year. Didn't have any interest in being in a relationship this school year. I was happy with the way I was and didn't want to have to worry about drama like last year. But then this guy showed up, and you know the rest. I denied it for a while. Told myself that it was bad...but eventually I realized that love had just taken hold when I least expected it and it was, despite my thoughts, the best time for it!

most definitely this is true for me, i was 14 when i met my husband and he knew I liked him before this but wasn't interested as soon as i went the other way and was over the whole chasing thing he wanted me, so i think the more you chase the less chance of it happening.

well, my friend told me that too...he said 'when you stop looking for love or someone to be with, he or she will show up'. so to answer your question, yes, a person for yourself, that you love, can show up when you are not looking and it just blows you away...in a good way
