My dog has been acting out ever since we found out we were pregnant. It's like she knows and is competing with the baby. Can they tell?

Yes, they can sense it. When my mother was pregneant with my sister my aunts dog tried to attack her withing in like 2 weeks of her finding out she was pregneant. they know.

Yes, dogs can tell when a woman is pregnant. Most dogs are better behaved when they sense their owners pregnancy though. My dog calmed down so much and was extra gentle once I got pregnant. He even used to lay his head on my belly all night long like he is trying to protect the baby.

I know what you are saying. My dog want crazy a week before I found out that I was PG. So when I wound out that I was I looked things up on line to help my dog.

Yes, some dogs and cats will lye on the stomach of someone who is pregnant even sometimes before the woman knows she is pregnant. they do sense your change in hormones

I think so. I had a friend who was pregnant and she noticed that dogs would run to her. I think it's like some type of instinct.

yes dogs can sense teh harmone change.
Teh last time I was pregnant my 2 dogs were my first indication I was pregnant, They wer alos my first indicators that something was wrong and I miscarried 2 days later.

well I'm not sure but i think she can because when dogs want to mate they can smell the hormones form the male dogs that approach right. maybe she can smell something on you and is getting jealous that now u have another baby! how cute!!! :)
