In CoD4 both SAS and USMC Force Recon said this.

Is this a term used in the military? I'm guessing it means "Stay Alert"

I'm with a recon unit now, and in all honesty the only time I heard "stay frosty" was on ALIENS when Cpl Hicks said it. I'd have to go with the first 2 guys and say it means stay alert.

Stay frosty could also mean stand on guard.

It may mean for one to remain clam under fire or other conditions. "Stay or keep cool", stay frosty.
