The answer is that there is no standard size for a glass of wine. At least in the US. The US does not have any regulations on the size of pours for beer, liquor or wine (compared to the UK, for example, where pours are regulated by the government)

An "average" glass of wine will be 5 to 6 ounces.

A typical restaurant pours between 5.5 & 6. The pour at home really depends more on the glassware you are using. When using a large wine glass pour under a half, this enables the glass to do its job and aerate the wine.

Based on the US definition, 5 oz (US ounces).

On the UK definition, which is 10g of alcohol, you would want 95mL of 13.5% wine, which is 3.33 imperial fluid ounces...
