LDS doctrine teaches that Jesus Christ is the eldest of Heavenly Father's children, and hence, our elder brother, spiritually. LDS doctrine also teaches that before he was cast out of heaven, Lucifer was also one of Heavenly Father's children. He rebelled against God and drew many of Heavenly Father's children away with him. So Jesus is not only our elder brother, but Lucifer's also.

We believe that we are all spiritual offspring of God the Father. See Hebrews 12:9, Deuteronomy 14:1, Psalms 82:6, Isaiah 42:5, Acts 17:29

And if we are all spirit children of God, that would make us all brothers and sisters. That would also include the Only Begotten Son (Christ) and the one who fell from heaven Lucifer or the devil. See Isaiah 14:12

Its all scripturally supported.

Kind of clear…he was the Word made flesh...made lower than the Angels in the flesh...

Godhead Unity ...Father -Son -Holy Spirit

John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:14
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

I John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are One.

Hebrews 2:9
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

Romans 1:20
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Jesus was not a son of God as an Angel....he is a God.

EDIT:
Five of God's greatest Angels:
Michael and Gabriel, Raphael, Suryal, and Uriel, ...The book of Enoch...If Jesus was an Angel...and he was the greatest...wouldn't he have been mentioned by name? He is alway mentioned by his position in the OT and other books that predate the NT.

The early Mormon Church denied that the Holy Spirit is a person.

That Michael the Archangel was actually Adam.

Mormons claimed that the early church did not believe Jesus was God. This is absurd considering the Church condemned the heresy of Arianism in 325 AD and again reinforced the Divine nature of Jesus definitively.

The Church always believed in the Divinity of Jesus, even pagan historian at the beginning wrote about early Christians belief in the Divinity of Jesus Christ.

First it seems that I might need to make one distinction, LDS members do not believe the trinity is true doctrine. We believe in the Godhead taught in the Bible. God is the Father, Christ is His Son, and the Holy Ghost is separate spirit that can dwell in us.

We believe that before we came to this earth, we all lived as spirits with our Heavenly Father. Christ was among us, but was chosen from the beginning by God to be the Savior. Satan was there too, but he rebelled after trying to take the glory unto himself. This is what we believe.

Because they read the Bible.

Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

Before he was cast out of heaven, Lucifer was a most powerful angel, close to God and one of God's favorites.

They believe they are spirit brothers due to the fact they are both God's creation. I'm hoping to be quoting that close to right at this hour.

What do you expect from CULTS?

Cults pervert the truth. Their prophet,Joseph Smith, claimed to have received a new revelation from the angel Moroni, & viola! the Book of Mormons.

Listen to what the Bible have to say about this new revelation....
"For such are false prophets, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works." (2 Corinthians 11:13-15 KJV)
