ima freshman in high school, andi have been workin out for the past 5 months on and off but for 3 months strait. i run, i just started playing baseball, and im just and althletic person. but i mean, why dont i have a six pack? im active, i do 100+ crunches a night, but i dont even begin to see any true definitin in my abs. is a six pack generic? im also a vegarian if that has anything to do with it but i drink a protein shake b4 bed. its agggrivating, i am 10% body fat, should i be any lower, would i see results if i lowered my fat percentage?

first of all keep in mind that you are young. you may not show definition in your abs for a couple more years. at 10% body fat you are lean enough to see the muscles... they are just not that well defined. crunches are only one exercise for the abs, mix it up, look online for other ab workouts to do that

also try and limit your sodium intake. salt makes you retain water, ther more water you retain the less definition you show

It all depends on your body structure and how it is built.
Everyone has a different type of abdomen some can easily get six packs others well it might be a bit impossible.
Maybe you are one of those people who dont get a six pack itself but insdead a very tight stomach that starts dividing into a single rectangle around the belly button.

When you exercises you have to make sure that you are eating sufficiently before and after your workout, the pre and post workout meals are the most important in the day. I would recommend a small meal 40-45 minutes before workout and a slightly larger meal directly after your workout, something with complex carbohydrates would work well (i.e, potato, white bread, sports drink) if you do this then you should see results.

- Good Luck

ok. you shouldnt do so much everyday. lol crunches ok but baseball and running will not give you abs in a second. focus on training your abdominal sections.

you should be drinking the protein shake before you work out, not before you go to bed.

if you were at 10% body fat you would have abs. mostly likely you used bioelectrical impedance to measure your body fat which is HIGHLY inaccurate...
