Thallasemia is the only blood disorder I can think of that you might be referring to. Thallasemia is an inherited blood disorder that affects mainly people of Mediterranean descent. Google it, as I don't know any more about it.

Do you mean hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism? Those are not blood disorders but hormonal disorders caused by under/over secretion of thyroid hormone.
