Sure there is, its all around us we just have to look.

If you are talking about magic like in movies....not really likely.

All a matter of perspective and what you consider magic.

yes ever hear of witchcraft, voodoo, or shamanism? just about any religion or spirituality practices some form of magic. A spell is an elaborate pray. It's focusing your will and mind on a goal or for a change to take place. No your not going to get a puff of smoke and there's your new car you've been wanting, because magic works in accordance with the laws of nature. Say you want or need some extra cash to cover the bills so you cast a spell and what will happen is maybe a friend asks you to help him on a job and you get paid for it or some one you loaned money to long ago suddenly comes up with the cash to pay you back. I know its not very flashy or instantaneous but that how real magic works.

Of course there is real magic. It is called shamanism. Every primitive culture has its shamans.
Whether magic works or not depends on whether you believe it in or not. Primitive people are quite fond of sympathetic magic, in which they bang on drugs painted with images of deer, for example, to attract deer in the hunt.
In modern times, real magic is practiced by the Puerto Ricans with their Santeria; the Cubans, the Dominicans...the Haitians....many people today practice magic. They often call it Voodoo.
There is also Black Magic, such as practiced by the late Anton LaVey, founder of the Church of Satan. He wrote a book called "The Satanic Witch."

Stage magic is called Illusion.

Real magic is the force of nature tapped into by the power of Will.
Thoughts create reality.
Intense, concentrated, directed thoughts create change in reality.

What is Magic? Some say that is is pure magic that they were able to find each other and fall in love. Some say that magic is nothing more than technology higher than our own that we cannot understand....

But this is what I believe. I belive that our souls are actually part of Divinity, and our one purpose is to reconnect with the Parent Divinity. And that since we have that Divinity within us, we have potential to tap into a "higher power." I also believe in the power of faith and will....

But really...what do you call magic?

Sort of, but no one gets sawed in half. The definition of magic is the idea of manipulating the extrahuman to do your bidding, usually by someone called a shaman. The definition of religion is the idea of pleading to the extrahuman in hopes of gaining favor. Interesting, huh?

Yeah, but it isn't nearly as flashy or impractical as the media makes it out to be.
