Like... pot luck day or somthing... we could hold it on Dec. 20th... which oddly enough conincides with my B day... I'm just sayin' I think given a big enough pot my chili could momentarily bring world peace... cept for the vegans of course but then... at least we would have someone to gang up on still... *ramble ramble*

Yes but think of the consequences your chili would bring on the 21st.

I don't. I think that those people who want to celebrate their faith have every right to. I think that Pagans should be able to celebrate the Solstice without interruption by those who believe differently. I think that Hanukkah is sacred, a celebration shared for generation after generation in rememberance of something they consider a miracle. Christmas deserves the same recognition. I'm not going to try to list all of the December holidays here. But I think that if we tried to water it down so that everyone could celebrate together, the sacredness of this time of year would be lost.

That being said, we could always just ADD to the winter holidays. But for pete's sake, I only have so much money for gifts - and this year I don't have any.

We should have a holiday where everyone in the world shuts up and can't speak a word for the whole day. All 24 hours of it.
