this has always bothered me
i just can't comprehend why someone would believe in god becuz chance actually exists and god cannot be proven to exist
and dont give me that faith crap

Actually, a working theory explaining how pure chance could create us is only 150 years old. Prior to that, God was the best guess.
Even given Evolutionary principals, lower life forms give rise to higher ones. So the notion that something out there is profoundly smarter and more powerful than we are is not especially improbable.
Now I suspect most religious belief is more about social order and managing the existential crisis of meaninglessness, than an actual search for sublime intellects of extraterrestrial origin.
Still, it's hard to absolutely dismiss the possibility of directed evolution (aka intelligent design), when human genetic engineers are already doing it.

Lack of god cannot be proven either. Don't get me wrong, I firmly believe that man created all the gods that humans worship, but that doesn't mean there isn't a divine being in existence. You BELIEVE there is no god. Others BELIEVE that there is. That is the only evidence some require and that is the only real evidence available. Yes it can be explained scientifically, but that does not rule out the possibility of the divine. as long as that possibility exists, there will always be believers on both sides.

Like you I have no faith that God exists. Unlike you I have certain knowledge that God does exist. I have been to the other side and I have seen where we go when we die. And religion, any and all religions, have nothing to do with it.
So believe me or not. I couldn't care less... and you will find out for yourself soon enough.

Chance, your telling me that our dna is by chance, your telling me that we are all so unique that our fingerprints, eye scans, toe prints, blood prints, hair prints, everything about us is so unique that is all happened up just by chance, Did you know that if planet earth was 5% closer to the sun we would burn up and if it was 20% farther away we would freeze to death. Did you know out of the thousands of planets that the scientists admit thats out there they even admit we are the only ones they have found that can sustain life. Chance, you need to think about that!! Jesus Christ came to earth and died on a cross for you, He loves you dearly, He gave his life so that you might live, He is the reason you are alive to read this, He is the air we breathe, and He is the reason our hearts beat. He is the Potter and we are the Clay. He brought you into this world to serve him. You and me are sinners, Romans 3:23, For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. Chance....chance leaves you open for failure..there's a chance something is or isn't real. How about a certainty...how about the certainty that God's Spirit dwells on the inside of me. I can feel Him, I can feel him working inside of me. I can see that he exists; through his creations. I can see him manifest himself. When I obey and follow his word, I can see my rewards. God is so real...Just as real as you're breathing and taking in air. How do you think that air got there? It just appeared? It just came? THe bible says that everything in the world was made by and for God, and by Him all things exist.
It's stupid that you would say chance. Just the word itself means that there is opportunity for failure. Jesus never fails. His love never fails. His kindness, his peace. God is so good to you, and you don't even see it. Its a shame. I'm gonna pray for you...that God has mercy on your soul.

If God can be proven, then it would not be belief.
People believe in God (true believers) believe soley because they believe there is one.
Reason why God cannot be proven, according to the Bible, is because God does not want you to follow him because you fear him as God, but because you believe he is God. If he proves himself to you that he is real, then there is no point of faith. Just as you do not not want your lover to love you because they have to, but because they simply just do.
