You have a personal trainer?
Well it's illegal for u to buy wine but if your parents get it for you and you're not the one drinking it than i'd say its perfectly fine

I personally wouldn't give him a bottle of wine. A gift card to a store or even an "congratulations on your engagement" card would be something much more suitable and just as appreciated.

Yes.

You're 16. How do you even have a bottle of wine handy for this occasion? Just have your mother do it instead.

Kind of. Actually yes it is. Never waste good wine on other people!

Further to your PS Your dad should give it to him, not you - sends a strong message (I did not saying wrong).

Give him and his wife a lovely bouquet of flowers - how gorgeous is that??

If dad wants to, he can give the wine together with the flowers, with his Name on it,

Cheers.

If your dad sells wine, have him give it to your trainer. You can give him the wine GLASSES.

Were you invited to an engagement event for the couple? If not, I wouldn't even bother with more than a verbal "congratulations" unless I got an invite to the wedding.

I think you're a bit too young. Get a gift card from a store. It's not sending the right message. He might feel uncomfortable too.

Since it's all in the family, then no, it wouldn't be inappropriate, especially if the gift is from you and your entire family, not just from you. A good rule of thumb is that you don't give what you can't legally buy :-)

yes, how about a gift card or a gift for the home. You could give wine as a gift from you adn your parents, but not fom you alone.
