what is the deal with one night stands and sleeping with different guys, i don't get it some of them do it without even thinking on the consecuences. Anybody that has been extremely promiscous???

Some people say we have a "hook up" culture. Maybe you should read "Unhooked" by Laura Sessions Step. She's a journalist who followed several young women in high school and college who only hook up, don't have relationships, and found out why they do it and the consequences.

it has always been so --- sometimes its because they enjoy just having sex with multiple partners ---- sometimes its guilt by the boyfriend (crying ohh if you loved me you would have sex with me) and sometimes its 2 people in a loving caring relationship that are experienced and mature and dont want to wait to be married to find out if they are fully compatible ---- any consequences are controlled by safe sex and birth control ---- best wishes

I havent but my friend is very much so. Her home life is crap. She doesnt know any better... then again when she goes on these sexcapades her mom condones it gross. But I think it is because they dont have respect forthemselves or maybe they are just moral-less!
