i believe that it was a demonstrated miracle of God

how could they gather up 12 baskets of left-overs of spiritual food to return to the young vender who gave what he had?

The Bible doesn't say He multiplied the loaves and fishes. It only says five thousand were fed from baskets containing five loaves and two fishes. You are presuming it was done by multiplication, no?
At any rate, I think it was *physical* food because just before the miracle, the disciples were asking Jesus to send the crowd away so they could buy food.
Are you working your way through all of Jesus' miracles? If so, wouldn't it be simpler just to ask whether people believe the miracle stories are metaphorical?

To answer your question you have to look for evidence to whether a man call Yeshua ever walked this planet.
There is no other man on this planet that books and scholars have written and studied about his existence. There are personal accounts of the same stories pointing to the same answer. Whether He multiplied fish or not we can only rely on the information being passed unto us.
If the information is false, then we should question all other information given to us about or from that generation.
Visit Isreal and find out if Yeshua the son of David fed 5000 people.

Again, with the literally metaphors!
Yeah, I believe he literally multiplied the fishes and loaves. Honestly, in my opinion, this was more of a miracle than the walking on water, which you asked about earlier...

No, actually what he did was he cut up the fishes and loaves into small squares measuring about 1/2 inch on all sides and handed them out to everyone.

I believe it was literal and there were many baskets of fish and bread left over to prove it. I've actually been to the site of where this happened.

Simply put, YES. It is just atoms. Really quite easily manupulated with His mind, since He created the atoms in the first place.

As I said, Jesus probably never lived at all. If he did, he was a magician doing cheap tricks to impress gullible people.
