i heard that recently they wouldnt let americans dock. (check CNN.com for more details on that) i hope we dont go to war because we are going to get r A S S

We may have issues with China but they also are considered an Ally on the WOT. There is much debate to that but thats how the powers to be see it.

Almost every war eventually boils down to economics (at least for one side of the conflict if not both). Since a war with China would neither benefit the US or China economically, it won't happen.

That sort of thing happens all the time - Australia routinely disallows US military ships to dock. Besides that, due to President Clinton's war on the military, the Army isn't large enough to even occupy Iraq - where would we get the troops?

I sure hope not. World War 3? I don't even want to think about it. In my opinion, China is one of the few countries that actually has the potential to devastate us. We need to be careful.

They do not want to go to war with us as they would lose all of the economic power from exporting to the us. They also do not want to get Wal mart their biggest customer

They are just getting more bold since they are getting more powerful. I don't think we would get our butt kicked but huge losses would be incurred by both sides.
