every weekend he causes problems by drinking too much, being jealous/aggressive on a couple of occasions. i've given him several "last chances" but its not improving. he says i need to tell him what he's doing wrong. but when i do,he starts swearing and says his bad behaviour is because I wind him up. he thinks throwing stuff against a wall should be excused if his girlfriend has been "f*cking his head up". is this part of his personality or can he learn/mature?

I'm going through the same thing right now. He's spending all our money at the bar and comes home smelling smokey. He's drunk and acts mean, but he doesn't seem to notice. I'm trying to recover alcoholism and this makes it hard. He gets mad when I "nag" him, but if I'm silent he gets mad that I'm ignoring him. If we get into a fight he uses it as an excuse to drink more the next night. The only way either of them will change is if it's for themselves. I've almost had it- looking into moving back home. Get out, the next thing it will be throwing your head against the wall. You don't have to explain, he knows its him, but just doesn't want acknowledge it because then he would have to do something about it, and its easier to blame someone else.

He just has to lose you to know what hez putting at stake...
If you leave him alone and he doesnt change then it was probly for the better...
But If he realizez what hez missing, then he might change...
I think he doesnt believe you when you say its his last chance becuz he has had so many last chances

Are you stupid, this guy is abusive, RED FLAG, doesn't take responsibility for his body's actions, (throwing things), and blames YOU!!! Look up "The gift of fear" you'll learn something. and!!! Check out what are you doing, you're in a dangerous situation, and he might hurt you.

this guy is seriously psycho.. after so many "last chances" and it not actually being the LAST, he probably doesnt believe you anymore when you say its his "last chance".. you need to end it before you get hurt.. this guy has a temper
