Was the Angel an immobile statue, or did it seem to come to life? I am not sure what "being blessed" means any more. Have a blessed day! It has become a cliche to me. But I do think there is something going on in the dream. Maybe you are filled with the spirit - somehow coming from the Angel - and you are blessing the water, and therefore those who come in contact with you. The Jesuits don't ordain women yet, do they? I don't know, Rena. It's something to think about.

As Marguerite pointed out it is indeed a beautiful dream. The subjects you see in your dreams are interpretations of yourself. The most significant part of your dream is the angel and the water that becomes a river. They both represent you. The angel may mean a nurturing soul, or a guardian. The water is holy and it is abundant and so this could mean a cleansing or a sustaining, life giving force. You are in an old ancient church and you are praying which may mean you are asking for something or giving in to something. To add this up all together is difficult. One thing for sure is that you are currently experiencing something magical in your life. It may mean that you are awakening to the truth.
Thank you for this question.

yes, 'answer doug' might be true.
that "You've been turning somewhere for answers" and now they come forth.
but sad to say, it might not be so hazy dazy. it could say that you are being too indulgent in worldly things (even worldly q&a's). and the gods are giving you a deluge and you franticaly attempting to cope (its almost funny) as if its a normal amount.
water can be a symbol of material reality.
such a dream seems that you are 'recieving'
and not only that (but more importantly), that you were 'asking for'
good luck finding the answer
the truth is out there
:)

You must have woken up feeling peaceful after witnessing such a wondrous dream!!! Did you not? You've been through a whirlwind of emotions lately (judging from your queries about love, life & self). You will have mercy of God now and I guess it (His love) is like a river flowing for you to dip in and find yourself...I myself put too much premium on dreams and feel some of them have infinite value. I'd love to have such a dream!!!
Edit: I am not a christian but I believe in Almighty and His endless bounty.

Churches usually symbolize a spriritual area in your life. And water is synonomous with cleansing, healing and refreshing. Perhaps your mind/soul was very close to the Almighty at that moment in your sleep and you received some psycho-spriitual cleansing or thirst quenching. It sounds very good to me.I hope I have a similar dream.

maybe god is having a guardian angel watch over you because maybe you are going thru some hardships and the water represents washing away whatever may it be. i guess that you are thinking of something such as maybe someone taking care of you or helping you when you need them and that you need to release a lot of stress or pain or agony. i have had a dream like that to realize that i was a lot under stress and ended up having a seizure in real life.only you know how it applies to you.

In dreams, water generally represents the unconscious...the "unknown". That's a secular, psychological interpretation. I believe that dreams cover SO much more ground than purely psychological or physiological function.
YOU are the best interpreter of your dreams. You already know the answer, in your heart.

This is a beautiful dream - the water is cleansing and purifying your soul as you are being blessed. This is, indeed, very special. I also believe the purifying is readying you for the next spiritual level.

Don't know, but I think your friend is on the right track! Keep track of any unusual good events, in your life for say, a couple of weeks or so,and see what happens. It may take longer, of course, but you never you know!
