They probably aren't as worried about it as you are, but you went a bit nuts there for a minute, didn't you? It's worth it to talk with a school counsellor about why something that trivial would set you off so strongly. Knowing "why" will protect you against a worse outburst & outcome on some future date.(You were severely embarrassed, weren't you? THAT'S what caused all of that in the first place, right? Here's the big secret:EVERY teen has their screwed up moment in the spotlight that makes them want to dry up and blow away. They're usually not as bad as you'll make them out to be, other folks are usually too busy worrying about their turn in the light to worry about yours; everyone will get a turn without fail; and you'll remember it for the rest of your life, but it'll only be traumatic once.) So, after you apologize once, maybe the less you say about this to your friends, the better off you'll be. Good luck.

Just FYI it's "forgiven".

Don't sweat it too much as we all do and say goofy things in high school and most of our lives come to think of it. In time they'll all forgive you if your nice from now on and don't say something like that again. Apologizing helps too. In time they'll forgive you if they're mature enough.

Sincerely apologize, forgive and forget it, move on but you really need to learn more about yourself and learn what triggers that anger...and how to control it. Best wishes.
