Yes, it is a sin! Alcohol makes you do sinful, goofy things like drive the lawn mower down the street to 7-11 at 3:30 am wearing a chicken suit.

Drinking is not a sin. Wine was undoubtedly drank by Jesus, as it was the only way to keep water safe for drinking as was beer in Europe. The bible does warn us of drunkenness.
Proverbs 23:31-32 Do not gaze at wine when it is red, when it sparkles in the cup, when it goes down smoothly! In the end it bites like a snake and poisons like a viper.
Ephesians 5:18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead be filled with the Spirit.
Proverbs 23:19-20 Listen my son, and be wise, and keep your heart on the right path. Do not join those who drink too much wine.

It is a sin for you because you are under age and are to obey the laws of the government unless they are in opposition to the will of God. When you come of legal drinking age, then drinking is not a sin but being a drunkard is. You will find that almost everything can become sinful when it is done in excess, even eating (gluttony). Jesus' first miracle was to turn water into wine, and not just any old wine, but good wine. If drinking is a sin then Jesus' first miracle was to do something that caused others to sin, something that would be against His nature. So, one or two drinks here or there is fine...drinking yourself into a drunken stupor is not.

Drinking itself is not a sin, as long as it's done in moderation. The Bible mentions alcohol consumption in a favorable light at least 80 times.
Drunkenness is a sin, but the moderate consumption of alcohol is not.
Remember that Jesus turned water into wine at the Cana wedding feast in the Gospel of John. He would not have done this, if alcohol was sinful.

Congratz for becoming a Christian, and welcome to the family of God, where you can enjoy fellowship and support from your brothers and sisters in Christ.
It is good that you are concerned about how to please the Lord with your life. From what i understand, it is okay to drink a little wine. The apostle Paul advised Timothy to use a little wine for his stomach's sake and his frequent infirmities or ailments. When Jesus was invited to a wedding in Cana, He performed His first miracle by turning water into wine to grace the occasion.
On the other hand, too much alcohol isn't good for health. It can cause you to lose control of your sensibility and do things you may regret later, and may also harm others.
King Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived before Jesus' time, wrote some words of wisdom regarding the dangers of drinking excessive alcohol, like in Proverbs 23 and 31. We will do well to heed his words, for they are written for our good. God bless you.

No. Getting drunk and not drinking responsibly would be a sin. Of course, there are denominations that believe that drinking is a sin.

At 15 it's against the law. Above 21, it all depends upon the circumstances.

No, it is not a sin to drink, but it is foolish to make a habit of drinking all of the time and getting wasted. My father died of liver damage due to excessive drinking.
I never developed a taste for any of the stuff. It smells and tastes gross to me.

the bible says that even though you know something isn't really bad, others may loose their faith because of your conduct.
We should always try to abstain from conduct that may loose a believer that Jesus died for.
You can get along fine with out drinking and most Christians have more fun with out it.
(: God bless!
