Basically, it's saying to find humor in your life. Without humor, everything is taken too seriously and would certainly lead to sadness.

You need to find humor in your life,
Otherwise your taking your life too seriously!
You never laugh, it will eventually lead to sadness.
But i am not sure of a person that has never laughed before.
That would be weired!?
