I was told to start a LLC in wisconsin, because you don't have to pay taxes there. But if my business is operating in Washington state, wouldn't I have to pay Washinton state taxes on any income I made there? Therefore defeating the point of starting a LLC in Wisconsin to avoid paying taxes. Shouldn't I just start the LLC in Washington?

Wisconsin pays state income taxes Washington state does not. I think you might have gotten some bad information?????

I live in Wisconsin. Whomever advised you that this state is a tax free haven is bonkers. Wisconsin levies property tax, sales tax, AND an income tax.
