My friend from england sent me a ps2 game. and it won't work on my ps2. YES, my ps2 works. BUt when i put the game in it says "please insert a ps2 game" on the screen, and idk why.
Can someone help me?

Europe is PAL region. US is NTSC U/C region. Officially, nothing could be done. Unofficially - check, where you can install modding chip in your region - you'll be able to run games from other regions and back-up games. But it's ILLEGAL.

No most games from Europe will not play in North American Playstations. Often times companies do this to prevent people from Japan or Europe selling it to North America or vice versa before it's released on that continent. As it always does, it boils down to money. If you could've gotten a game months before it's released from overseas when it comes out in your country you won't buy it and the hype isn't as big.
