May I dedicate this poem to little Daniyah Jackson?
The 10 month old rape victim who succumbed to internal injuries caused by her rape?

Little Daniyah
Written by Semper Fi Reborn

You beautiful little angel,
Find rest in God's arms.
He shall watch over you,
He'll shield you from harm.

What was done to your body,
God has already healed.
I pray for your family,
Sadly, I know how they feel.

You beautiful flower,
Never had a chance to grow.
No chance at schoolwork,
Or a first Christmas show.

Find peace up in Heaven,
Where with angels you play.
I won't forget you Daniyah,
I hope to see you someday.

God Bless You Little One.
Rest now.

In the time that I have been on yahoo, I can honestly say that there has never been a time that I actually cried from a question. This is truly beautiful semper fi. Things like this break my heart. It is so sad that people hurt children. Innocence and love, that is what they are. I am the mother of two. I am so fortunate to have them. I am sitting here on the computer thinking how fortunate that I am when I came across this. My 16 yo son is knocked out snoring on the couch and my 7 week old is next to me making little sucking faces while she sleeps. As a mother this makes me so angry. I hope that each and every parent really remembers how special their children are and keep this family in their thoughts and prayers.

Sentences for these people need to be longer and tougher. It is amazing to me that someone may get more years in prison for stealing a car than stealing a child's innocence and in many cases robbing them of their future. I really believe that there should not be a sex offender registry. I think they all should have life in prison. When they get a few years after they get caught, they get back out and commit even worse acts.

Things like this really ticks me off. At least this child is now in God's capable hands where she will not have to deal with the hate and sickness of this world!

** I have to add that we need to keep all children in our thoughts. Children that are suffering in secret righ at this moment. Children that are forever changed because of sick, twisted individuals that care more about their perversions than the life of a child. I suggest any one who has a free moment to participate in Big brothers and sisters. Mentor. Be a person that children can talk to. No child deserves this.**

The poem is very appropriate. I have a daughter as you can see from my avatar. If this had been done to my little girl, there would be no hole deep enough to hide for the scumbag that did it. This perp and I'm being nice about it should be placed in general pop. He will have his day in court and then the news will get out inside the prisons what type of person he is. It seems, even in prison, that there is nothing lower than a child molester and murderer. These type of the lowest common denominator of human debris don't really last long in prison unless they are put in PC (protective custody). I feel for the mother and rest of the family. I even feel for the mother and father of the scumbag and wonder how embarrassed they are.

May God bless you for writing that Semper Fi.
Can you send it to her family?

I have choked back the tears and wiped the eyes, with a sniff or two.
It brought alot of emotions up in me too and if I weren't in a public library, I'd cry, as I have done in my heart.

Love ya Bro*

I feel ignorant, obviously this story didn't make the news in Aus.

However your poem gave me chills Semper Fi, I don't need to know the details - I can feel the pain.

Bless...
