how did sexism started there with adam and eve?? i don't have a bible or even read it because i'm not reall religious. so i'm doing a report on sexism and i found adam and eve thing on google. i just want to be sure i'm getting the right thing from the bible. (i don't own a bible.) PLZ help me.

Sexism didn't start there...Eve was created from Adam's RIB...not from his foot or from his head...she was to walk beside him as his equal---not above him or below him but rather side by side...as his helpmeet.
1 Cor. 11: 11 Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.
sexism doesn't come from the Gospel of Jesus Christ...
it must come from somewhere else!

God ordained marriage between one woman and one man. He gave Eve to Adam in the Garden of Eden.
Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib and brought her to Adam. " At last" Adam exclaimed. " She is part of my own flesh and bone ! She will be called woman because she was taken out of a man." this explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one..Gen 1:23
