They can't seem to worship god the same way

Some of the differences have to do with our differences as humans--different personalities, tastes, cultures, etc.
Others have to do with false doctrine and different interpretations of Scripture that developed throughout church history. Most of these have a link to money, power, or politics somewhere along the way--study the history of a denomination to see what country it originated in, and then see what was going on in that country politically when the denomination was founded, and follow the money trail a bit, and you will usually be able to figure at least part of it out.

Ultimately, Satan has used this tactic throughout the ages to try to divide and conquer--if he can distract true Christians int either worshipping in error or arguing among themselves, then they aren't winning the rest of the world for Christ, are they? It's basically the same trick he used to fool Adam & Eve by twisting God's Words and getting them to believe a lie instead. Look at the first murder in the Bible--only two brothers, and already they were trying to worship God in different ways and ending up fighting over it! It's the basic human sin nature to be contentious and try to prove we are right.

If only we could truly surrender ourselves so that there was more of God and less of us (walking in the Spirit instead of the flesh) many of these differences might fall away and we would achieve true unity as God intended. But in our own power and human wisdom, unity has never lead to anything good--look at what happened at the Tower of Babel, and read the prophecies in Revelation of what will happen when the Anti-Christ sets up one world government and unified religion. The more "inclusive" a particular denomination gets, the more it will be reduced to the lowest common denominator--it won't pull the weakest brothers up, but rather will bring the strongest brothers down.

God's religion is only one. Submit to His Will and Majesty.

But since the Message came to many people, at a different times, those who are on the earlier Message will not accept the later.

God gave Torah to Moses, the Messenger that was sent to the Jews.

Later, the Bible was given to Jesus, a Jew to revive the Faith which needs redefinement and addition due to the complexity of the people's society structure at the time, which is later on rejected by the Jews themselves, eventhough they know that it was the same God who gave the Scripture.

Later, The Holy Quran was sent to Muhammad(psbuh) to still redefine and added to it new messages, due to the complexity of the society structure of THAT time. There is no lost of info in between. During the time that Muhammad(psbuh) was appointed A Messenger, the society structure is very close to what it was today. As God announce that this is the Last Messenger and The Last Book He sent as guidance to mankind, therefore its the culmination of the Completed Scripture. But still, the Message was rejected just like the Jews rejected The Bible and Jesus(pbuh).

That is the reason why there is so many religion when in fact, it bears the same Message. Its the works of Man.

We will not say that Jesus(pbuh) as a minor Prophet. In Fact he is one of best prophet that have connotation to his name. Just as Moses, Abraham and Muhammad (peace and salutation be upon them all) The closest to God. (Al-Muqarrabin)

Abraham(pbuh) is Friend of God (Khalilullah)
Moses(pbuh) is The One who spoke to God (Kalimullah)
Jesus Christ(pbuh), Jesus Al-Masih, ( The Anointed)
Muhammad (psbuh) is Al-Mustapha (The Chosen One)

They brought the one same Message, there is no god but God, the one and only. There is no different in them all. They are the righteous ones. The Great Teachers of Mankind.
The sad thing is both Synagogues and Churces knew this, yet they still won't accept it, just because Muhammad(pbuh) is not one of them, not the descedent of Isaac(pbuh) the son of Sarah, but born of decesdent Ishmael(pbuh), the son of Hagar. But they forget that they share the same ancestor Patriach Abraham(peace be upon him and his family)

You know, every time I hear or read about all these so-called religions all leading to the same God, and how Christianity is somehow based (although which is never proven- just laughed at) on so-called earlier religions, I just can't help but think about the parable of Christ's about the wheat and the tares.
