Because the teddy bear is an inanimate object; this is considered an insult to the prophet. FYI, even if the bear was real, the teacher would still be in trouble. Naming an animal after the prophet is also a no-no, since humans are higher in Allah's creation than animals. To name a lesser being after the prophet would be an insult. I don't understand why people are saying its not the teachers fault. The teacher is responsible for everything that happens in his/her class room. it doesn't matter who named the bear, she is responsible for it. for example: Its like if a friend hides marijuana in your car. a cop then finds it in your car. you (the owner of the car) will be responsible for it, even if it wasn't your. it doesn't matter who's marijuana it was, it was in you car, so you are responsible for it.

Actually you probably should. I will include my new line of toilets and urinals for that area called Muhammed toilets or Muhammed crappers, still working on the name. But the cool thing is that there is an image of Muhammed in the toilets and urinals to improve aim.
Wow, that is one group of people who need to stop dragging their knuckles on the ground and come into the 21st century with the modern world. Yeah, yeah, I know that people will be insulted by my comments, but it is the truth and it is reality, so it hurts, deal with it. Muslims have the power to change their image, etc. so do it.
