Well, God does forgive you if you repent. But there are many people who die without knowing God or some people just want to live freely and not believe in God, which they end up in heell. God gave us a free choice. A choice of our own. He gave us a choice whether to believe in him and have hope and faith. Or go with our temptations and not believing in him. Hell is where demons are. God loves us all and wants all of us to be in heaven. That's why he made us. God is the king of the kings, which demons dare not to have a match with him. But the only way to win(have victory) God(for them) is to suduce us with many temptations and making us think that God isn't real and God won't forgive us, where at the end, we end up in hell.
I hope that answered your question. I'm glad that you had a question like that. God bless you.

Because he gives you the option to accept his forgiveness. That is the only way to accept his gift of forgiveness and eternal life by becoming a chrisitian. It is only by making the choice not to do that, that you end up in hell.

Read the Apocalypse of Peter. It is a book that was rejected by the people who decided what books go into the Bible, and it was debated to have this book or Revelation. They rejected this book because in Peter's vision of hell and the end times, he states that in the end the people in heaven will plea with god to forgive the people in hell. God forgives these people according to Peter because God is loving. The church doesn't want you to know this, so this book has remained unexamined by many people.

God forgives everyone who asks to be forgiven, and then only for those sins between God and man. Sins between man and man cannot be atoned for until forgiveness is granted from the wounded party.

God forgives all sins EXCEPT the sin of refusing the Holy Spirit. If you chose to ignore Jesus and His free gift, you can not be forgiven.

God only forgives those who ask for forgiveness and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Others have to have someplace to go and Hell is it.

because not everyone will receive the gift of his love and forgiveness through Jesus. Hell is the other place. Opposite of heaven. God even said "I set before you life and death, choose life".

we have to forgive ourselves before God will forgive us. some people can't do that and go into a place with all their baggage creating hell.
