Peanut butter and dogs?

Is it ok to give dogs peanut butter? we were thinking of putting it in their Kongs.

I do the same thing I put pb in their kongs too!

Peanut Butter is ok, but I would look for a natural peanut butter. Peanut Butter should just contain peanuts, but they strip out the peanut oil and add in a bunch of other stuff, including sugar. Your dog doesn't need that stuff.

Instead of using regular peanut butter, try organic. Peanut butter has a lot of sugar and fat, so go for the organic kind, it's healthier. But yes, dogs love it in their kongs.

Using peanut butter in your dog's knong is perfectly fine but it can lead to other health risks as well as allergies. I would suggest putting wet dog food in the kong and sticking it in the freezer for a few hours, it will take the dog forever to get it out plus it is alot healthy and wont pose any health risks.

Yeah dogs can have peanut butter.

My grandma's old dog had some problems when he was older, so they would put his pills in a PB sandwich. =]
