I want to give my teenage granddaughter some Christian
music for Christmas. If you know a couple good albums,
please list the title and singer (s). No stupid answers from
you that don't really know anything about Christian music,
please.

She might enjoy Ernie Haas And Signiture Sound. They have a great CD. called Get Away Jordan. They also have a cd out with the Gaither Vocal Band called Together. You can check these and more Christian CDs at www.gaither.com.

I'm an atheist. I'm also a huge music fan. Some of my favorite Christian artists, however, are The Woven Hand and 16 Horsepower. Check out this Amazon link to Woven Hands album "Blush"

It'll give you an idea..

They don't call themselves Christian, but Thrice and Anberlin both make very good music and are composed entirely of Christians and incorporate themes into their music. Thrice is better, but it depends upon the style of music your granddaughter likes.

I haven't heard them for a few years (therefore, I don't know if their style has changed -- and my stupid computer won't play the samples at the following website), but I think this Christian group is *very* good:

Depends what type of music she likes. Like hymns or church praise songs or what?

I'd say FM Static.
