Since I'm not a Christian, am I wrong? I know the Pagans started the tree business, but the Christians did take it as theirs. I'm an atheist....so what do you think?

I actually think that is very nice. Do you know that in the Middle East these days some Muslims put up a decorated tree, much like the Christmas tree. Only decorated with the Crescent and lots of lights. Call it whatever you like. A rose by any name is still a rose.

I myself don't put trees up simply because I think Christmans is a silly hypocritical holiday.

Why do you care, just decorate the darn thing? Would it be better for you to call it a Pagan thing. By the way, Christians adapted it into their culture, it wasn't taken. You can't steal something like that. Is someone going to press charges. In that case the atheist stole the idea of a Darwin fish from Christians.

Its not a Christmas tree then. Its just a dead tree in your living room. Are you afraid to be who you are? Or are you afraid to let Christ into your life? You think that your actions speak louder than your heart?
