There was and still is a Jewish Nation. There were previously Kingdoms although never "an empire". Furthermore, the Jewish Nation does not nor ever sought and never will seek to build an empire.

No the Jews never had an Empire in the sense that they controlled territory of others like the Romans controlled parts of North Africa. Jews had a Kingdom that was basically a local area. For the most part they tried to live peacefully with the neighbors without aspriring more territory and in ancient times were overrun by Assyrians and others on numerous occassions. PEACE!

Only during David and Solomon's rule. It stretched from some of the Sinai all the way up to Turkey and as far east as the west of the Euphates in Syria.

Yes, the Davidic and Solomonic empires, these ran through all of Israel and the Sinai (Israel of the Jews), most of Jordan, Syria, and all of Lebanon, even up to borders of Turkey.

Their "empire" was, and still is, the land of Israel.
At one time, it was two kingdoms -- Israel in the north, and Judea in the south. When the
Assyrians conquored Israel, the 10 tribes were dispersed to neighboring kingdoms as well as to Judea.
