When a guy makes an everyday innocent statement, such as "I never find this hard for me", or "I can't seem to stick this thing in.", saying "That's what she said" turns it into something dirty sounding or a sexual reference and usually demeaning towards the person who made the innocent statement. Good for a cheap laugh.

It started way before "the office". It's supposed to be used when you say something like "oh, that's so big" talking about something real, like a tv. When they say "that's what she said" it usually has a smart *** sexual implication.

It's a quote from the show the "The Office." I think whenever someone says something like, "She said I'm good," you would say "That's what she said!" I think it's a perverted saying, but it's just a guess. I never really got the concept, but I love the show!
