Do you think what the Cheerleaders did at Ripon highschool was appropriate. As part of a routine, they showed their bloomers with writing on them to a whole crowd.
Do you think this is appropriate or inappropriate?State why or why not.

Bloomers? you are kidding, as you are obviously locked into the 19th cent, ladies should not show their bloomers, or indeed their ankles as this would show them to be less than lady like. Queen Victoria would have them locked in the tower for such an outrage, Bloomers indeed, you will be using words like Dang and dagnabbit next. Still, I will give you a star for making me laugh.

I think it just goes to show what our society has become... classless. Cheerleaders already have a bad enough reputation.. and by doing these kinds of acts they only worsen their own reputation. Cheerleading shouldn't be about the girls showing off their bodies or dancing provocatively, but rather *cheering* for their team and getting the crowd involved.

Don't cheerleaders wear gym knickers because of their short skirts? Even if they didn't, I don't see why underwear should be seen offensive.

Also, who says bloomers nowadays (I'm English by the way).

Sounds Sluty to me. Provocative. Un-cooth. etc....

I find it more offensive that their mascot is the Indians.

So, they put the mascot name "Indians" on their arses...how insulting is that?
