I probably will see it cos I like Nicole Kidman.

I'm lead to believe the original series, of which GC is part, was written by an atheist.
"His Dark Materials consists of Northern Lights (titled The Golden Compass in North America), The Subtle Knife and The Amber Spyglass (see also a short companion piece, Lyra's Oxford, containing items of interest and a short story, as well as the yet-unpublished sequel, The Book of Dust )."

I suppose most people who gave their children permission to see Harry Potter will see this.

I will probably watch it with my kids as it seems to be something they would like.
However I wish all the commotion about the movie would cease as I think I will be spending the entire time watching it looking for some suppose hidden message.

I'm going to go see it because I liked the trailer that I saw before the last Harry Potter movie, not because all of the ruffled feathers. As my primary likes are sci-fi/fantasy it is right up my alley.

I actually do want to see it - it looks interesting.

I'll be sure to come back here and evangelize the message of evil (pronounced Eve-Isle) that it is most certainly spreading to my subconscience since I am so weak minded.

I didn't until it became the subject of controversy. Now I want to see it so I can have an opinion. Like the Da Vinci Code.

I might watch it on dvd or years from now when it airs on tv.

It seems worth watching.
I doubt that I'll bother going to the theater to see it though.

Count me as one who won't ever see this drivel.

Nicole Kidman isn't a worthwhile actress.

The movie seems like a rip off of many other epic pictures. i bet there will be at least 3 of these movies as well.

I want to see it, but I'm concerned that it's watered down and full of bad CG. I'm a big fan of Nicole Kidman.
