Does benching even help forearms get bigger? or do you have to work on grip and curls to get them big..
what I mean is that if you actually bench press and do other exercises like that for the chest , will the forearms get big as well? or are specific exercises needed to make the forearm bigger..( dont tell me, i kno a lot of exercises i just want to know if benching is enough to make it big)

A kid at the gym asked me how I got my forearms so big. I told him that the best thing for forearms is manual labor. The forearms require specific and exhaustive training to get any size on them. Benching isn't going to do anything to help the forearms.

benching... no that won't make them bigger, curling may be different. If you think about it at then end of every curl you should finish with a french curl. I don't think it would be a bad idea to do forearm exercises but they should gain straingth naturally as your arms do.

if you want Popeye forearms you'll have to do alot of specific work directly on them.

I think forearms, calves and leg work are often neglected by many weight lifters because they want the most obvious results with the least work required...

Therefore they focus on arms and chest and ignore many other areas such as forearms, calves and leg work too, which is a pain to keep up with.
