People become vegetarian for many reasons. The one thing I do know is that people who become vegetarian because of the reason you are talking about don't last. It has to be more than just a diet to you. It has to be a way of life. Literally has to become a lifestyle. Most people who are vegetarians for years can tell you that they didn't choose that lifestyle. After seeing the things we have seen, there really is no choice. I would recommend you learn alot more about this lifestyle before making hasty decisions. Because this one will change your life. A website I recommend is PETATV.ORG
This site will have plenty of information on why to become vegetarian. I think that should be your question. Once you understand why, everything else falls into place. The more you learn, the better prepared you will be. And preparation is ALL the work.

Well you can get a vegetarian cookbook at the library and the two of you can try a new recipe a day - make sure you get enough protein so you don't feel weak and make sure you don't use breads in excess. There is also a website called VegWeb.com that is very helpful and to be sure you get the right foods try the site MyPyramid.gov for quantities based on your age and weight. Good Luck!

Being a vegitarian shouldn't be hard if you are dedicated to commit to your promise. You probably dont just want to IMMEDIATLY start eating only vegtables. Let yourself used to eating them first. Eat more and more servings each day. This can help your body get used to eating only vegtables.

I don't understand how you can be a "Veggiteren" when you can't even spell it.
