It's because they worship a god of vegence. They worship God out of fear not love.
They think you can change. Ask them if they can change and become gay.
They use the Bible to justify their hatred, when in fact you could use the Bible to justify any number of evils.
They say the only reason for marriage is procreation. Then what about the men and women who physically can't produce a child. Are they bound for hell because they love each other and have sex?
They do it because Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson told them to, in other words, they are so ignorant they can't think for themselves.
Don't be intimidated by these people for they are NOT Christians, they're kristians. You should feel sorry for them that they haven't formed a relation with Jesus.
Never let them sway your beliefs. The Bible was put together by men and was actually rejected at first by King James because he didn't like the first draft. He sent it back for revisions until he approved of the final draft. So much for the Holy Spirit.
Remember Paul of the Bible? He said it was better NOT to marry, but if you couldn't control your sexual urges then it was better to marry than to have sex outside of marriage. Doesn't that kind of shoot down the procreation theory?
By the way, I am a Christian. And if you follow the life of Christ and try to live up to His standards you'll be fine because Jesus never condemned you at all - EVER.

Firstly, I don't know many (any, actually) people who believe that God hates homosexuals, because they all believe that God is incapable of sin and hate is a sin. They all just say that homosexuality is a sin.
How do they support this claim? With one line of text from Leviticus. A book which also instructs us to sacrifice bulls on an alter as the smell of the blood is pleasing to the Lord God. I wonder how they (Christians) know which lines to hold adamantly, and which lines to ignore because they are outdated?
Personally, I don't find homosexuality to be a sin, or to be the undoing of "sanctified marriage" (uh, seen the divorce rates recently? Rates of adultery? Straight people are doing just fine sullying the sanctity of marriage on their own), or even to be unnatural as some people have claimed (it happens in the Animal kingdom all the time).
I really can't understand why anyone would consider being gay a sin (other than that silly Leviticus book, discussed above). Murder, theft, adultery, viloence; I can understand why these things would be called sins, since they have direct negative impacts on the lives of others. As far as I'm concerned, two men having sex has never had a direct negative impact on me or anyone I've ever met. And I bet if most Christians were honest with themselves (that's not a sin, is it?) they would realize that homosexuality causes them absolutely no detriment to their lives.
Well, maybe a little discomfort, but really? Grow up, mind your own business and start spreading some of that love and peace your religion is so uppity about.

religious human beings trust all diverse issues. to be able to respond to your question, some religious human beings will be confident that God hates gays, others that God hates homosexuality, and others that God has no mission. diverse religions have diverse issues to assert, or perhaps adherents interior of a unmarried faith could have multiple diverse critiques. The YouTuber who's writing like 'kill your self', assuming he's Christian, is one wondered moron. If it truly is what it potential to be an outstanding Christian, then i'm gonna run for the hills. God probable would not hate gays better than he hates women those who're no longer virgins on their wedding ceremony nights, adulterers, those who do not keep on with the sabbath (they're condemned to lack of life), those who devour blood, devour particular meats, and placed on particular clothing. I hate each little thing about faith, as a thanks to stray out of your line of idea. faith promises gas to hatred because it creates an egoical identity wherein 'i'd be top' and 'actually everyone else is faulty'. So faith makes human beings experience extra suitable to others, and its because of religion that the comments you got here across on Youtube are often written.

Doesn't make any sense does it? God allegedly created man and God is allegedly perfect, not to mention the embodiment of love, yet if gays are such terrible people and God created them, then wouldn't that negate the argument that God is perfect. Why would he have created gays if they are so evil? Also, there is evidence to support that homosexuality is something you're born with not something you chose, so that being the case God made those babies gay, ergo, imperfect.....hmmmmm don't make much sense does it? I would much rather hang out with a bunch of queens than a bunch of bible thumpers, gays tend to much more open-minded.

The Five Books (of Law) from G-d transmitted through Moses state it is an abomination for man to be with a man as with a woman. Acting without regard for G-d's Law therefore is detestable although acting in this lawless manner is never a reason to hate. When there is ignorance of G-d's Law as is prevalent in secular society the result therefore is that Gays live right alongside people who follow G-d's Law.

Most religions believe in the bible which states, "you shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female".
Based on that passage, christians believe it's immoral and a choice for people to be gay.
Some religious people believe that gives them the right to hate gay people. True christians should hate the sin and love the sinner.
Ps I'm gay and an atheist.

First of all God does not hate gays. He doesn't hate anyone. And secondly one of our main purposes in this life is to procreate. Can 2 men produce children? No. That is why homosexuality is seen as a sin in many peoples' eyes.

God does not hate gays. He loves them as much as he loves any of us. God hates the gay behavior. God gets to make the rules. Talk to him about it, he listens and will give you an answer.

Classical Freudian projection.
They hate gays (or at least are afraid of them).
But they have adopted a religion which tells them to love all.
So they posit a God that hates gays for them.
They can then claim that they love the sinner but hate the sin.
So it is their God, and not them, that does the hating (I don't know how else you'd describing casting a person to burn for all of eternity in Hell).
So in psychological terms, the payoff is they get to keep the negative attitude, while ascribing it to something outside themselves (God).

Because they follow the Bible, and according to the Bible people who are homosexuals are going against God's will for their life. "God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve."
However, I do believe that while it is a sin to be homosexual, I don't think it is our right to judge people based on their actions, and that we all sin , what makes one sin more significant than the next?
The only reason I can come up with why people are so against homosexuality is because it is something that is not "normal" , also the consequences of someones actions can greatly affect the lives of other people. Like that pastor who was married and had kids but had an affair with a man - it affects someones life other than his own.
There's a verse in the Bible that says that homosexuals will go to hell - but I'd like to also point out that people take that verse so out of context, because it also says liars, cheaters, murderers and a bunch of other stuff - the very next verse says "But all who come to the Lord are forgiven".
People are just not understanding.
